We found a way to make an adorable, reversible photo prop without spending a dime. It’s an upcycled torn fabric garland, and it’s really easy to make!
Supplies: Fabric Scraps, Ribbon, Scissors
Directions: Wrap ribbon around your basket, placing a knot at each end of the ribbon where the ends meet. Leave enough ribbon after each knot to allow you to tie the garland onto the basket when you are done. Snip your fabric pieces every 1.5″. Rip fabric at each snip to get strips. Tie your strips onto the ribbon by halving the strip, and pulling the ends through the loop at the center of the strip (as you would if you were making a tutu). Push each strip towards one knotted end as you work. Tie onto basket.

Tip: Save time and supplies by making one garland, half girl colors and half boy colors!!
